If you take the time to research this subject will find tons of posts, videos, blogs, and books that all say pretty much the same thing that exercise is perfect for you. However, maybe you are not sure if it sets you up for success or not; after all, I have only shown you some resources to confirm regular exercise is good for you. How about I give you two examples and allow you to see for yourself whether or not daily exercise sets you up for success.
Example 1
Let’s say you are a single mother with two or three children. You work a full-time job that you are required to start at 6 am. You get off work at 2:30 and have to run and play a few bills or pick up some food before picking up the kids from school. You rush home to cook dinner and prepare your children for basketball, football, or volleyball practice. You get home at 7 pm and still have to help your children with homework before taking showers and going to bed. It is now 9 pm. Your day has been nonstop, and all you want to do is lay in front of the T.V. and not think or move. You end up going to bed at 11 pm and getting up at 5 am to start again.
If you recognize this scenario, it is okay. But unfortunately, this is a typical day for most parents, especially single parents. How could you possibly find time to exercise when you do not have time to eat right, sleep right, or anything else right.
However, let me just say this is the mindset of overworked and under-supported people. But it has been proven time and time again that when you think and live this way, you will struggle with
- Depression
- Fatigue
- Stress
- Poor Diets
- Poor sleeping Habits
- Negative mindsets
- Confusion
- Reactive emotional State
- Weight gain
- Poor muscle strength
Among other issues. So what can you do differently to resolve these issues? First, let’s look at the second example.
Example2
In scenario number one, you got up for work at 5 am, but what if, to get some exercise in, you get up at 4:15 am instead and get 30 minutes of exercise every morning before jumping into your hectic day. You then went to work and did all the same things. After doing regular exercise for 14 days, you start to notice that you are fitting, you’re close better, you are sleeping better, and you are in an overall better mood. After 30 days, you start to notice that you have more energy, and things do not stress you out the same. You are even finding time to take care of yourself in other ways.
I can already hear you, but I do not want to get up 45 minutes earlier; 5 am early enough. Well, for those unwilling to give up 45 minutes of your sleep, what if you took a 30-minute walk on your lunch break rather than going to your local fast food restaurant for lunch.
And then again, maybe you are not willing to give up your lunch hour, but you would be willing to do 30 minutes at your local gym while your children are at practice. Any of these scenarios would work and have the same outcome. The point is to find time to put exercise into your day.
What Do You Think?
Out of the two examples, which would you instead feel like? Example one where you are stressed out, overworked, undersupported, tired, and overweight, or scenario two where you are starting to sleep better, feel better, and fit your closes better. The only difference between the two examples is 30 minutes of exercise. You might say,” that’s nice. I do not have the energy to get up 45 minutes earlier than I already wake up just to exercise. I do not want to give up my lunch break. I really just do not have time in my day for exercise. I would respond with, “you are not alone. A lot of people feel that way”. Would you like to know the difference between the people who exercise daily and you? They make the time whether they have it or not, and so can you.

Other Things That Help
When you’re ready to eat healthier, you must be mindful of what you’re putting in your mouth. First, you’ll want to pay attention to how much you’re eating. I know that depending on the Depending or eating too little. You should eat at least one meal daily, but eating three small meals and two snacks per day are recommended.
Another thing to be mindful of is what you are drinking. Too many sugary drinks can damage your body and affect your ability to think clearly. Instead, you should drink up to 75% of your body weight in water a day. When you do this, your body will look better.
One final tip, You should be trying to get at least 6 hours of sleep daily and, when possible, 8 hours. You will feel so much better when you are rested. Let alone you will be amazed at how much better your skin will look, How much better you will be able to handle the stress of the day. All of these can be hard to do, but you should try. To do any of these, you will see and feel improvement, too do all three, and you will feel and look like a new person.
Final Thoughts
I would say that the ‘Yes’ Daily exercise sets you up for success. In all the research, hopefully, you will see just how important it really is to take care of yourself.
