Well, welcome back, everyone, and Happy New Year. This week I will not be writing a blog about some new facts I have found out, ideas, or thoughts regarding some recent research I have done. Instead, this week I will simply talk to you from one spiritual harmony seeker to another.

I would like to talk about life changes and how they may or may not affect us along our journey through life. As we embark on yet another year full of all possibilities and amazing wonder, I feel it is essential to understand how our choices affect us more than anything that any other person may or may not do to or for use.

If you are anything like me, you will understand the concept of goals and their importance to our overall success. Because of this knowledge, I almost always make time at the end of each year to list things I would like to achieve in the coming year. So many of the items on the list are relatively easy to accomplish as to make sure not to make things too hard on me (since I know that the list is going to be pretty long), but there are always one or two things that I would like to achieve that will be somewhat challenging for me.

When I start the year, I am confident that I will achieve everything on my list, but a month or two into the year, that confidence begins to disappear, which becomes a choice. Do I want to stop and put it off, or do I want to continue and possibly achieve what I set out to achieve?

If you are like me, in most cases, you will continue with the full knowledge that you will hit this same crossroad at least twice before reaching the finish line. In these cases, these would be self-made life changes, and depending on what way you go along the path, these kinds of changes can either lift you and make you stronger or tear you down, and you will begin to believe over time that you can not achieve anything that you want to achieve.

However, there are other life changes such as jobs or income changes, whether chosen or unchosen, and relationship changes, whether you are losing a relationship or gaining one.

Having a child or a child moving out on their own, the list of these changes is endless and can affect you profoundly, either for the positive or the negative.

The trick in these situations is to remain humble and generous when life is going well and to trust and believe in the source that all will work to the best when times are bad.

It would be a good and reasonable question. Many of us have faced a lot of struggles in the last year or two, and to be completely honest, the year to come may present many challenges. However, I felt it necessary to say that anything is possible if you trust and believe.

I know this is such a cliche, but it has been so faithful in my life, so I think it is relevant to share with you. I had someone say to me not long ago, “if you believe something to be real, then for you, it is real” it took me a moment of thinking about what they said to conclude that they were right.

This is precisely what belief does for use it makes the impossible possible, and through our beliefs, we will naturally work toward what we already think to be real, making it manifest real.

So from me to you, whatever you hope to achieve this year, whether it be a new job, health improvements, new relationships, or the ending of old habits, believe that it is real. You will naturally manifest it real, and just maybe, you will not have to face so many of those crossroads along the way.

It is also important to mention that whatever changes you decide to make or any changes you might have to face, you do things that help build you up, not something that might defeat you. To make your experiences positive, you must care for yourself through self-love and grace. Realize that things happen, but life moves on, and the best thing you can do is learn from the experience and keep moving forward.

I hope in some way that this heart-to-heart has or will help you, and again I wish you all a Happy New Year. I feel pretty confident it will be a life-changing year for us all.

Until next week, Namaste.
