Welcome back, everyone, this week, I thought I would discuss how you could eliminate excuses blocking your success. So this week, I will talk about six ways to change this aspect of your life.

We all make excuses for decisions or actions we make. Yet we all know that the excuses that we make can block any real progress that we would otherwise make.

If you would like to be shown some ways to break the habit of making excuses that seem to block your success and progress, then please read on, as I will break down six different things you can try.

The Five Main Excuses People Use

This blog will break down the five most used excuses.  Which are,

  • Health
  • Age
  • Luck
  • Wealth
  • Intelligence

Everyone will use one or more of these five excuses to excuse them from not taking action or finding the level of success they were hoping to make.

Below, I will show ways you can or why you should stop using these or any excuses.

I will start by giving you four things that can eliminate any health excuses you might have.

Four things to help rid you of health excuses

Some of the health excuses that one might use are that they have a weak heart, that they are too overweight, too exhausted, or that they have too much swell in their extremities, along with a dozen of other excuses that you use their health as an excuse not to take action or to follow through with something.

No matter the excuse, it is essential to understand that excuses block action, and nothing gets done without effort. Thus, below, I will give you four ways to break this habit.

  1. Do not talk about your health. If you do not talk about your health, you will be less likely to allow it to affect your decisions and stop blocking your action.
  2. Stop worrying about your health. Again, if you are not worried about your health, you will be far less likely to allow it to affect your decisions or actions.
  3. Be grateful for your health. An attitude always helps to improve your perspective on anything.
  4. Remind yourself you are alive and that anything is possible.

Using any or all of these to help you to stop using your health excuses will significantly increase your ability to take action, and taking action will produce results.

Three things you can do to rid yourself of aging excuses

Another kind of excuse that you might see yourself using will be aging excuses. These excuses might consist of the word I am too old or too young to do whatever needs doing. Below, just as I did above, I will list three ways that you can stop using these kinds of excuses to block any success you may want to have.

  1. It is important to understand that you are never too old, as age is simply a frame of mind and not really about the years you have been alive.
  2. If you are old enough to accept the task, you are old enough to do the job.
  3. Invest your time in things that you want to do. This will help you to stay optimistic about the tasks you are doing.

If you find that you are using the, I am too old mindset, stop and calculate how many more years you have until retirement; this will show you how many good years you have left for solid productivity. But, on the other hand, if you are retired, then think about how many more years you might be in good health to be productive, and that will show you how many more years you have before you become too old to do things or follow through will any kind of task.

Two things to help you handle your luck excuses

Many people think they can not do certain things because they are too unlucky or do not have enough luck. This is untrue, as most tasks have little to do will luck and more to do with the willingness to do the task and how hard you work to obtain your outcome or result.

Below, I will help you break the mindset of good or bad luck by pointing out two things you should never forget.

  1. Luck is not designed to deliver outcomes. Using your skill and ability to prepare for any action you might want to take on the task in front of you is far better.
  2. Don’t be a wishful thinker; develop your ability for success and apply hard work to your mix.

If you can remember these two things, you will have very little need for luck, good or bad.

The step you can take to deal with your wealth excuses

The type of excuses that people use is wealth excuses. They look at the time. I do not have enough money. I am not good enough in my skill to make the kind of money I want to make. I do not see enough success with my business. I am not good enough at marketing my products, and the list could go on and on.

Whatever the excuse, it is important that wealth is more about your state of mind than the amount of money you actually have. But, as I have already said time and again that excuses only serve as blocks to your success, so allow me to give you some food of thought; all of your worries are driven by fear.

This is something I will discuss more below, but if you can take a moment to examine where your fear is coming from or what is causing you to feel afraid, then you can take steps or directed action to resolve the problem, aka, the fear.

No matter your fear in this department or any department of your life. It is important to recognize it is only fear, and fear only has as much power as you allow it to have.

Understanding Fear

One of the most important things to understand about fear is that it stems from negative thinking, which will trigger adverse action. Remember, what we believe to be true, we make true.

This is why it becomes essential that you isolate where the fear is coming from and why you have it. By taking this first step and figuring things out, you can take action to find and create steps to resolve the cause of the fear or worry you are feeling.

Something else that is important to remember is that one of the best ways to get rid of fear or worry is to simply be grateful. As I said before, gratitude makes everything seem much better, and any kind of positive thinking will eliminate negative thinking. Just some food for thought

Final Thoughts:
