Welcome back, everyone. I hope you gained something from last week’s newsletter and enjoyed it enough to repeat some of the same experiences. Again this week, I will be breaking away from my usual dialogue, and I will have a simple but direct discussion with you.

This week I would like to speak on the topic of peace. I would like to share my inner journey toward complete peace and how this part of my journey has profoundly changed me and truthfully continues to change me in many ways.

As always, I hope you stick around and partake of the information that I will share about how I established inner and outer peace in my life along my journey toward becoming positively improved.

The talk

When  I first began my journey toward becoming positively improved, my life was a mess and so chaotic. I can remember the day I knew things had to change, and I can remember saying in a prayer that I prayed, please allow me to have peace. I can remember how I felt my words so passionately and profoundly as I said them.

It was at this very moment that I knew that it was peace that was the answer to so many of the situations and problems I faced at that time in my life. Thus, I started looking for ways to obtain peace no matter what was going on inside me or around me.

It was only a short time after I started researching peace that I came across meditation, and I have to admit, before stumbling onto this discovery while researching peace, I had honestly never heard of it. As I found more and more benefits of meditation, I was more convinced that it would help me find the peace I craved. As I put it into practice, I found that I felt more peaceful, and the more peace I gained, the happier and more still everything became inside.  My racing mind slowed, and my decisions became more aligned with my beliefs. I became calmer as my anxiety melted away.

After some time, I also noticed that when I was in a peaceful state, I was much more focused and productive, and then I started to see how people wanted to be around me. I began to see how my relationship with others was better, and everyone got along so much better when in my company.

It was all so amazing to me. What I discovered was that peaceful energy is a powerful energy and encourages and promotes love and tranquility. This new knowledge explained many things to me, and thus, peace has become entwined into my daily living, much like breathing.

Things you can do to obtain peace for yourself are to find habits or daily routines that allow you to release tension and achieve something positive. Once you see this thing or things, depending on your approach, embrace it and use it fully to bring yourself to a lasting state of peace and just observe as I did the profound ways it will affect your way of life. Let’s look at the pros and cons of peace and how it might affect your daily life.

Pros

  • Peace is calm and serene.
  • It can improve all your relationships.
  • It helps you to extend peace to others.
  • more content
  • Less bothered by everyday troubles
  • Sleep better and wake rested and ready to take on the day ahead.
  • It can help to raise your ability to focus.
  • It helps keep you in your present moment, which allows you to be more productive.
  • It can help you raise your ability to be more self-aware of how you feel and think, so if you need to make adjustments, you can.
  • It can also improve your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being and overall health.
  • It is full of optimism and joy

Cons

  • It can lessen your motivation toward progress or infuse complacency into your daily routines.
  • It can make things feel so very boring
  • It can make things feel stagnant.
  • It lacks conflict or adversity and, thus, growth.
  • It gives you little reason to plan for a potential crisis.
  • Maintaining it requires a delicate balance, which is not easy for most.
  • It can potentially be used against you to oppress or control you.

In conclusion

Now it is essential to keep in mind that the lists above could both be elaborated on, but I feel that you have the point I was trying to make, which is that although there are cons or downsides to all things in life, living a life full of peace is something worth having. Can it be challenging to find the balance between stability and complacency? Yes, but it can be found, and once found, it can be maintained if you only give it daily effort.

I hope you took in this information offered in this week’s newsletter and that you share it with anyone it might be of value to. If you would like to share some of your thoughts on peace, please do so in the comment section below.

As always, thank you for taking the step with me as I shared how I have positively improved. I hope that with this knowledge, you will also incorporate peace into your daily life and become positively improved as well. Until next week, namaste.
