Welcome back, everyone. This will be the final week that I will use this format of conversation in my newsletters as I will work to transition back to the original format next week. So, for those who want to get back to the basics, be patient with me a bit longer, as the next two weeks will bring us back on track. If you enjoy this relaxed format of simple but direct conversation, you are in luck; this week, you will get just that.

This week I will discuss how I have personally faced the challenges of life balance, which almost anyone can tell you is full of obstacles and frustrations. Yet it has been a mission of mine for some time to figure out how to create this balance in my life so that I can have the most effective and progressive life possible.

If you would like to read about my experiences and creative solutions, stick with me as I show you yet, another part of my journey toward becoming positively improved.

The talk

I can barely remember the days when I did not have balance as part of my life, but I remember that everything felt so freaking heavy and out of control. Nothing made sense to me back then, and nothing seemed to work as I thought. I can remember how I always needed more time in the day.

I can remember how my relationships only made life a bit harder to deal with, and none of my relationships were enjoyable. I think that it was the fact I was so miserable and felt so stuck in a place where nothing was happening that made me start looking for a resolution to all the problems.

I used to dream of what it would be like to be able to do it all and to enjoy doing all the things I would do in a day. I would dream of having relationships that I wanted, which helped make things feel more manageable, not harder. I would always think to myself how nice it would be to be self-sufficient and able to do things as I wanted.

So, I started seeking a solution that would allow me to do all these things and so much more, and guess what I found to be the resolution to all these problems? Yes, balance. I will be the first to admit that creating balance in my life took time and more patience than one might think that you would need to make this kind of change. Yet, once implemented into my life, it transformed my life from an utterly uncontrollable mess into something of fantastic simplicity and precision. Life is much easier to navigate and handle, and I have a greater sense of peace and organization.

Balance has allowed me to improve my time management skills, and it has allowed me to make time for everything and everybody in my life, which has improved everything about my life tremendously. Now let’s look at some of my most significant frustration with creating balance.

The frustrations

So let’s recap, as you can see, creating balance can be pretty challenging, and without discipline and patience with yourself, it can be nearly impossible. I would say that one of the most frustrating things for me is that life has a funny way of distracting you from what really matters.

In my particular case, I would take the time to map out my plan and then how I could take action and then get to the point I would take action, and bam… The newest crisis would derail me. This would always somehow take me completely off course and back to the drawing board. I would go trying to figure out what it is that I would need to tweak to implement all these excellent plans of mine.

It seemed that just as I was ready; it would happen again and again and, yes, again until I was just about to give up, and then somehow, like magic, it would just all start working. I would create a maintainable balance between each area of my life suitably for me. Still, I have always questioned why things must be so challenging and frustrating. I can tell without a doubt it has never made sense to me that I can’t just think to myself things should go like this, and they just fall into place. I guess if it were that easy, then it would not have as much value. What do you think?

The benefits

However, things are great once they fall in line. Balance makes everything feel so easy. Honestly, when you have balance integrated into your day, you can take on so many different things, and it all just feels so easy. Everything flows from one thing to another.

This brings me to benefit number two, the state of flow. I am not sure about you, but I genuinely love the state of flow. There is so much room for progress and peace in this state. Where balance makes everything feel lighter, flow makes everything feel much more peaceful and pleasurable.

Then you have the progress. Oh my, so much progress can be made once you have balance and flow. It is like you are an unstoppable machine. It really is like everything you once struggled to achieve just kicks into warp speed and can’t seem to fall into place for you fast enough. I can tell you it feels pretty great once you start achieving everything you want. The confidence that is built is amazing.

And finally, it is incredible how much your relationships will improve when you start making time for them without compromising all those things you need to do in a day. Everyone wants and needs time to build and maintain any relationship, and it feels great to meet the requirements of the relationships that matter most in your life.

So let’s recap, the benefits of balance are:

  • Things feel lighter
  • Move smoother thanks to flow
  • Feels more peaceful, harmonious, and joyous
  • You achieve more thanks to all of your motivation and productivity
  • You build confidence
  • Improved time management
  • Improved organization
  • And strengthen your relationships.

Note that this is just a short list of benefits; there are several other excellent benefits of having a balanced lifestyle.

In conclusion

As I come to the end of yet another weekly newsletter, I have to say; I am a firm believer in living a balanced life. My journey of life lessons has taught me that having balance in your life makes everything so much easier and so much more stable and steady.

Many people think a life without chaos is not living life, but from where I  am standing, you can not really enjoy your life in a state of confusion, but your can with a lifestyle of balanced living. Living a life of balance allows you to have it all and, even better, to enjoy it all. I strongly encourage you to try it if you do not already live this lifestyle.
