Welcome back, everyone. This week’s topic is how to obtain prosperity in all areas of life. I am sure that anyone reading this has asked for or wanted some level of prosperity in their lifetime, yet, if you are anything like me, prosperity can be so hard to achieve.

This is what led me to write on this topic. I know so many people who seek prosperity or abundance in various areas of their lives and never quite seem to obtain it how they think they should. Thus, this week, I will dive into how you can obtain prosperity in any area of your life and end with some steps you can take to maintain it once prosperity has been achieved.

With further ado, I invite you to stay with me as I take this next step towards becoming positively Improved.

What is prosperity, and how does it work?

Let’s start by defining prosperity. It is a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, especially in financial respects; it is good fortune. With this in mind, you may wonder how it works. This would be a question that alludes so many who ask it.

You must take specific steps toward creating sustainable ways to move from the poverty state you started in, such as expressing gratitude, encouraging yourself, or finding new sources of income. When you find the steps that align you with the prosperity you seek, you will begin to see it manifest in your life.

Now, let’s look at the different areas of your life where you can obtain prosperity to create a sense of abundance.

Obtaining mental prosperity

To be mentally prosperous, you must be a lifelong learner and take daily steps to remain mentally sharp and at the top of your game. You can do this by first aligning your mental and emotional well-being. When these two parts of your whole are aligned, you can be mentally more transparent and disciplined.

So here are some things you can do.

  • Make social connections — especially face-to-face, a priority.
  • Stay active.
  • Take up a relaxation practice. 
  • Eat a brain-healthy diet to support vital mental health.
  • Get plenty of sleep.

Now, there are other things you can try, but this list gives you some of the more critical steps that you can start with.

Obtaining emotional prosperity

We have already made it clear that you can not become mentally prosperous without first being emotionally prosperous. So, what does it mean to be emotionally prosperous? It is when you can harness, control, and have authority over negative emotions. 

So, how does one build the skills to become emotionally prosperous? Below, I will give you a few things that you can do to start building on this skill and improve your ability to be more emotionally intelligent.

  • Exercise 15 to 30 minutes daily.
  • Take a walk in nature.
  • Accept that which you can change and release that which you can not.
  • Become more emotionally resilient.
  • Practice mindfulness and meditation
  • Learn how to purge negative emotions healthily.
  • Make positive connections

This is just a short list, but any of these will work well for those who choose to try them.

Obtaining Spiritual prosperity

 The essence of spiritual prosperity would be the fruit of the spirit, which would be considered love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

The way to obtain spiritual prosperity is primarily by being grateful, remaining open to blessings, and giving a lot so you can receive, which is a law of attraction. Some might say it is about acknowledging and praising your chosen god or goddess. Yet, you can be completely aware of divine energy and never obtain prosperity. However, a grateful heart and mind are rather hard to refuse, regardless of who is giving.

Thus, I encourage you to be grateful for your blessings; at the right time, you will be rewarded with more.

Obtaining physical prosperity

Physical prosperity means taking care of your body and experiencing vibrant health and vitality. This means you have to eat properly, exercise regularly, care for your skin, nails, and hair, sleep six to eight hours nightly, and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

When you do all these things, you feel and look great and function at your highest ability, which means that you will also improve other people’s lives.

Obtaining financial prosperity

Now, when prosperity is mentioned, most people will first think of financial prosperity. I know I always used to, and if I can be sincere, until I started my self-improvement journey, I never realized that you could be prosperous in any other way.

Most people understand that financial prosperity means having a successful, thriving financial condition. Just as most people understand, in order to obtain financial prosperity, you have to first have a wealth mindset, two have clearly defined goals be willing to take action on those goals, and have discipline, which will allow you to make hard choices and personal sacrifices for the result. When you can do these things, you will find that things will work more in your favor financially.

Maintaining the prosperity

So, you now have prosperity or at least know how to obtain the prosperity that you want to have, but how do you keep it? This is a good question, as most people do not think this far ahead. However, the best way to maintain success in any area of your life is to keep doing what helped you get the outcome in the first place.

The real trick to maintaining anything is to continue doing those things that helped you get whatever you wanted once you had it. To maintain means to keep with continued action. If you can do that for the rest of your day, then you will likely always have the outcome you most wanted.

Final thoughts

Now, as I come to a close with this week’s topic, I would love to say that prosperity is something we all search for at one or more times we search for no matter our age, gender, status, or religious background. The approach we take may be different, but we all, at one point or another, seek it out.
