Welcome back, everyone. This week, I would like to talk about how you can find beauty in the everyday. Now, for those of you who already have this skill, you know that it takes work to obtain it, especially if toxic people or an environment surrounds you. Yet, for those of you who have yet to build this skill, it is worth the effort and patience that it will take to develop it.

I can remember the beginning of my journey of self-improvement and the moment that I realized just how negative my viewpoint was. I remember thinking to myself how it had to change, just as I remember the moment it did change and how different everything looked and felt from that point forward for a while.

Seeing the beauty in just about anything and everything makes things seem much better than they seem to me. If you have yet to experience this for yourself but would like to, then I invite you to take this next step toward positively improving with me. I will give you ways to begin this journey for yourself.

Becoming aware

The first step toward noticing beauty in the everyday is to notice that beauty can be found in the smallest or most mundane things. For example,  you can look at a butterfly and see its beauty, but the same could be said of looking at a fly or a tree.

You can see beauty in people’s behavior or even their words, and if you look at what you do, you can find beauty in just about everything you do. I invite you to look around and see all the beauty surrounding you. If you took time each day, you would see more and more beauty. It is a matter of making the time to see what is happening around you.

Gratitude

The second step is to be grateful for the wonderful beauty around you. When you focus on the positive and see the good in everything, you also add to the wonder and beauty that surrounds you. For all of us out there who have grateful hearts and minds, we will tell you that everything takes on new meaning and appearance when you are grateful for everything that you see, feel, and experience.

I have written a lot about having a grateful heart and mind. The fact is that the more grateful you are, the more beauty and wonder you attract. Thus, if you want to see the beauty that surrounds you every day, it is important to have gratitude for the abundance and prosperity you have been granted, no matter how much or little it might be.

Transforming our perspective

So, I have now explained how opening your eyes and seeing all the beauty around you, being grateful, and seeing all this wonderful beauty can enhance the beauty that you see. Now, that’s all a bit about how to completely transform your view so that it doesn’t take any real effort on your part to see all this wonderful beauty.

Believe it or not, the easiest and most effective way to see beauty in everything with no real effort on your part is to see everything through the lens of love. Love can turn the ugliest situations, relationships, and experiences into something of beauty and wonder.

Love can turn fear into wonder and excitement, hate into the willingness to care and support, and it has the power to rain clouds into a clear and sunny sky emotionally. This is why it is important to surround yourself with people, places, and things you love.

Live what you love

Okay, how do you surround yourself with those places, people, and things you love? It all starts with being real with yourself. When you know what you want and how you want to live and interact with others, you can begin to live authentically which will naturally make your desires, dreams, and needs a priority.

Hopefully, you are starting to see that it really does all start with you. How you see and treat yourself will directly affect how you see the world around you and treat other people. If you look at things from a negative perspective, you will see ugliness and negativity, but if you look at things through love, you will see lovely things and people.

Final Thoughts:

Now that you can see how to see the beauty in the everyday, I will bring this newsletter to its close. I invite you to take some time each day to see the beauty surrounding you and be grateful for all the beautiful things and people in your life.

If you know someone who could use this information, please share it with them. Of course, if you would like to share your thoughts on this topic, please do so in the comment section below. As always, thank you so much for supporting my work and for taking this step toward improving with me. Until next week, namaste.
