Welcome back, everyone. This week’s discussion will focus on how energy is formed in and around the body. This topic will open the door to the next several weeks on energy, how it works in us as individuals, and how it connects all living things.
In the next few weeks, I will go into much greater detail on each aspect of this week’s newsletter, and ultimately, you are likely to see a permanent shift to this topic in the content I release in the future.
However, in this week’s newsletter, I will explain energy, how it can be used, how it can affect us, and how it can be channeled to create good results. If this is something that you find interesting and would like to learn about, then I will invite you to stick around as I take this next step toward becoming positively improved.
What is energy?
Chi energy, also known as “qi,” is a vital force that flows through all things, including living beings, nature, and the universe. However, spiritual energy is generated by the inner “self” and influenced by a person’s values, convictions, and beliefs.
Ultimately, energy is a vital life force that flows through us, builds our inner selves, and will influence our values, convictions, and beliefs. Some ways to connect with spiritual energy include:
- Mindfulness: Focusing on the present moment
- Connecting with faith
- Helping others
- Practicing yoga
- Meditating
- Journaling
- Spending time in nature
Some believe that the body also has energy systems that can affect spiritual health, including chakras and meridians:
Chakras
There are seven main energy centers in the body, running from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Each chakra is associated with a specific organ, emotion, color, and frequency. In Hindu belief, the chakras represent seven centers of spiritual power in the body, including the crown, heart, root, sacral, solar plexus, third eye, and throat.
This will be discussed in more detail in next week’s newsletter, so if you would like to know more about this energy source and how it works, please come back when I dive in and help give you a much better understanding of chakras.
Meridians
Meridians are a network of energy channels that run through the body and connect different organs and systems. They are linked to specific acupuncture points and are thought to be important for overall health and well-being.
The meridian system comprises 12 primary meridians, each with an extremity and eight collaterals. Each side of the body has six meridians, three yin and three yang, and each meridian is associated with an element:
- Fire: Heart and small intestine meridian
- Earth: Stomach and spleen meridian
- Metal: Lung and colon meridian
- Water: Kidney and bladder meridian
- Wood: Liver and gallbladder meridian
When the flow of qi through the meridians is blocked or out of balance, it can cause illness or pain.
How does this energy affect the whole self?
Energy is essential in our daily lives because it is a basic human need. We use energy to heat and cool our human-made structures. Energy is necessary for getting out of bed, walking down the street, or even lifting your finger.
Energy allows one to manage stress better and cope with whatever life throws at them (or takes away from them). You’ll experience greater happiness and well-being. And you’ll automatically find the motivation to keep moving forward with optimism and fortitude.
Understanding that all living organisms need energy to grow and reproduce, maintain their structures, and respond to their environments is crucial.
How can you create and channel this energy for good?
Channeling your energy for good involves directing your focus and efforts towards positive actions and outcomes, often through self-care and mindful practices. Here are a few ways to achieve this:
Some ways you can achieve this goal of channeling for good are as follows:
- Meditate daily
- Direct your thoughts to the positive
- Exercise daily
- Get quality sleep(when you are rested, you can function better, and therefore, you will do everything better)
- Set clear goals
- Have a grateful mindset or attitude
- Continue to pursue your own goals and dreams.
It is also helpful to build confidence by setting and maintaining clear boundaries, being compassionate toward others, and spreading kindness everywhere you go.
Final Thoughts
As you can now clearly see, energy is vital to our overall function and how we interact and connect with everything and everyone. If your energy point becomes blocked, you will be out of balance, and you will be able to tell because things will seem to work against you rather than with you, or people will seem to reject you for no clear reason, or you will reject them without really understanding why.
In the coming weeks, I will release content that details how to unblock blocked energy points. Until then, I hope that you found value in this information and that you will return next week when I continue building on this topic of discussion.
If you know someone who would benefit from reading this content, I invite you to share it with them. I would also encourage anyone who wants to discuss this topic further to let me know by leaving a comment in the section below.
As always, thank you to all my regular readers and the support you all give me. If you are new to reading this newsletter, I hope you will return next week when I will take another step toward becoming positively improved.
